LYTHAM

Once a regular winner of the ‘best kept station award’, the station is the gateway to this oppulent town. A walk either down the main street with its many shops, or along the Green is in stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of Blackpool, just a few miles away further down the coast. The station buildings still survive but have been converted into a pub - restaurant, they had previously declined into nothing short of a ruin.
