Saturday the 13th of April saw the arrival of Coronation class steam locomotive, number 6233 Duchess of Sutherland, into Blackpool North. The excursion, which originated started from Derby, is seen passing Kirkham and Wesham running nearly twenty minutes early. Looking every inch a thoroughbred, the ultimate accolade will be paid to this fine machine when she will haul the Royal Train along the North Wales coast in June.
